THINGS TO KNOW

'On The River' provides superior and comfortable accommodation in a rural, riverside setting. The 5 Bedroom House and Suite a connected, but remain private with a locked door.

 

When you book the 5-Bedroom House you will not be sharing it with any other guests - you have the entire house to yourself. As is for the Suite.

 

 

Both the Suite and House are accessed via separate keyless doors. You will be given an access code the day of check-in via email.

To activate the keypad, please press the 'Schage' button and then enter your access code. Please ensure you pull the door firmly shut when you leave and press the 'Schlage' Button to lock the door.

 

 

The property is located in Tamahere, approximately a 15-minute drive from Hamilton City. We are located 3km from Hamilton Airport which has regional flights to Wellington and Christchurch operating daily. There are great cafes and restaurants close by, but not within walking distance. Four Square, a convenience store is located 2km along SH 21 (approx 2-minute drive). Check out the "SEE&DO" page using the top navigation panel to see activities in the area.

 

 

There is free parking available outside the property, however, please park by the signs as Acacia Reserve is close by that is accessed by the public. We suggest locking your cars. 

There is a car garage available for House guests use at an additional charge, booking is essential.

Check-in is from 2:30pm (14:30) to 9pm (21:00). Check out is until 10:30am.

 

The Manager is always on hand, and the Owners of the property live close by and are always able to help. You will find the contact information in the guest information book.
